My photography work varies from press to publicity coverage, marine and commercial to music, theatre and portraits.

Examples of my work include: Band Photo shoots, Concerts, Carnivals, Art Exhibitions, Brochure Work, Private and Commercial Buildings and Photographic documentation. Plus major events including; The Bestival, Wight-Air, Cowes Week, F1 Powerboat championships and The Nokia Isle of Wight Festival.

A little more about me...

• 1965 Born
• 1978 1st point and shoot film camera
• 1981 Studied photography at college and got first taste of press work
• 1984 Landed a job as Senior Photographic Technician for large engineering firm, got addicted to the smell of lab fumes, betting on horses and fiddling about with Kodak Statfile Cameras (clarification best left untold!)
• 1986 Leapt into freelance work for the Hampshire press, a wedding firm and various studios  using my bathroom as a darkroom
• 1988 - 2004 took rather a large break from the photographic world to work at Plymouth College of Art & Design for the head of photography (and also wanted the use of my bath back)
• 2004 Born again (photographically speaking) having discovered the wonders of digital photography and dragging myself away from "traditional" film photography with much apprehension. 

I now regularly land in the pits of various local island music events, international festivals and tours.
